The Estimate Process

The Independent Alarm “No Pressure” Estimate and Purchase Process

So you have decided that you are interested in some type of security, fire, camera, phone, etc. system. There are a number of reasons people decide they want / need a system. With commercial systems you need to protect your business and its assets. For residential systems the reasons could be peace of mind, children home from school by themselves, neighborhood issues, recent break-ins in the area, medical panics, etc.

After you have made the decision, you now need to find vendors to get quotes, which can be the worst and most tedious part of the process.

We know how you feel about buying a security system. You both need and want the system but the sales process is a bit intimidating. You assume there will be some type of “High Pressure” scenario with the salesman that will complicate the process. You may fear that some of the terms will be changed at the last minute.

We have enjoyed a trustworthy reputation in this business since 1978 because we do not practice these types of tactics or sell customers “too much” system for what they need. We take a common sense approach to selling and do not practice “high pressure” sales tactics.

We also explain thoroughly, the pitfalls of purchasing a system from a corporate security company versus a local provider. How systems are priced, why this matters, and your options for monitoring the system are all discussed in depth.

  1. Call or email us with your contact information and we will assign a knowledgeable salesman to your account based on your needs.

  3. Flexible Scheduling- Once the sales associate calls, they will attempt to schedule a 30 minute to one hour consultation. Business hours are preferred but other arrangements can be made.
  4. Estimate / Consultation occurs.
  5. Within discussed time frame a proposal will be emailed and / or mailed to you.
  6. Follow up call one – seven days later.
  7. Depending on the situation, you will receive two to three follow-up calls or emails.

As you can see, we try to keep the process as simple and casual as possible. You will never be badgered or pressured over the phone or in person. We understand you need time to make your decision.
